• Events on Saturday mark National Quilting Day (Asheville Citizen-Times)
  Celebrate National Quilting Day Saturday at the Folk Art Center, milepost 382 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville. Quilters Connie Brown and Robin Brooks, members of the Asheville Quilt Guild and the Southern Highland Craft Guild, will demonstrate their craft 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the center’s lobby.
